Discussion

This was the number issued to lift the finds from the area (initially shovel-scraped and then trowelled) between the two machine cut trenches (012AG00001 and 012AG00058) in area 12AG. No further excavation was carried out in this area. All 63 of the pot sherds recovered were of a later Roman date. No animal bones were found.
