Discussion

This layer was an accumulation of material (a sandy loam, Munsell colour 10YR 3/3) in a shallow depression, which was sealed by spit 012AC00019 and which sealed two features (ditch 012AC10015 and part of the Bronze Age pit pair 012AC07081) in the north-east quadrant of area 12AC. The only diagnostic find was a sherds of late Roman pottery.
