Discussion

This spit was excavated in order to determine the relationships between ditches 012AC09500 and 012AC09501, and pit 012AC00322. The material removed was a sandy loam (Munsell colour 10YR 3/3). This was carried out in the area which had previously been the baulk between areas 12AB and 12AC (initially cleaned under the number 012AC00265).
