Discussion

A small, rectangular spit, excavated to test for the presence of features. A worn pebble surface (012AC00364) was found. The material removed was a sandy loam (Munsell colour 10YR 3/3). The full extent of the surface was not defined, as it extended out beyond the edges of this spit.
