Discussion

This was a layer of loamy sand (Munsell colour 10YR 5/6), sealed by the darker layer 002CA00033. The deposit contained far less inclusions than 002CA00033 above. This deposit equals context number 002CA00034 (excavated in the previous 1986 season), and was issued to lift the finds which had eroded out of the sandy deposit over winter (two pot sherds and a fragment of non-local stone).
