Discussion

This number was issued to allow a group of finds to be lifted from a small area of surviving buried land surface (probably Neolithic or early Bronze Age). The material removed was a loamy sand (Munsell colour 10YR 3/4) with occasional small abraded chalk inclusions. Finds included a flint blade, a Peterborough ware sherd, and a sherd of rusticated beaker.
