Discussion

This was a layer of daub rich soil, apparently contiguous with stone setting 012AD08580. The soil matrix was a sandy loam (Munsell colour 10YR 4/3). The deposit was sealed by spit 012AD08473 and was cut by two post holes. It remained unexcavated, apart from cleaning back and planning. There were no finds.
