Discussion

Like spit 012AD05467 immediately to the north, this spit extended eastwards from stone setting 012AD05496. The material removed was a dark (Munsell colour 10YR 3/2) silty clay loam. Partially defined were slot  012AD05524, and pit 012AD05572.
