Discussion

This was a cleaning spit immediately across and to the west of the Medieval gullies. The material removed was patchy, just the remaining lumps of overburden from the machine cleaning. No features other than the Medieval gullies and a Medieval or post Medieval gully (002DB00004) were defined. A high density of finds and animal bones was noted.
