Discussion

This spit was excavated to level off a small upstanding area remaining after the removal of spit 002CA00104. The material removed was a sandy clay loam (Munsell colour 10YR 3/6), and a slight windblown sand component was also noted. There were very few finds in comparison to the other spits of this material, although this could be explained by the fact it was mainly over the stream channel deposit.
