Discussion

This was the final cleaning spit in the centre of area 11CE, although a machine trench (011CE00792) would subsequently be excavated in the west. The material removed was a sandy silty loam (Munsell colour 10YR 4/3). Many of the features were now defined, including post hole structure 011CE20013 and slot 011CE00633. Most of the finds could be assigned to their individual features, thus only two were lifted under this context number.
