including 1 samian sherd. It cut through the upper fills of quarry pits
012AD05108,
012AD05208
and 012AD05236, and was cut by post
hole 012AD05162.

Discussion
This was a relatively short slot, with the same alignment as the group
of slots 012AD05126 to the east,
and as ditches 012AD05026 and the
southern part of 012AD08341
to the west. Its single fill was a sandy silty loam (Munsell colour 10YR
4/2), with 15% chalk inclusions.
Where it was not cutting through the earlier quarry pits, the slot was
cut into fragmented chalk natural, with a rough U-shaped profile.
