Discussion

 A NE/SW aligned ditch in the south of area 12AB. The ditch is parallel to, and is probably a primary of, 012AB07187 to the south. Both cut a Grubenhaus (012AB07003) and were cut by a possible trackway of unknown date (012AB00334). Two ditch segments (012AB00668 and 012AB00690) were cut by the ditch and may be earlier cuts of the same feature. This ditch also cut through six other ditches (012AB00652, 012AB00666, 012AB00674, 012AB00678, 012AB07185 and 012AB07186) and a pit (012AB00672). Three ditches (012AB07187, 012AB07189 and 012AB07190), three post holes (012AB00515, 012AB00517 and 012AB00524) and a small pit (012AB00419) all cut through the ditch. The ditch had a primary fill of a stonier fill with a higher clay content matrix (012AB00310). The ditch contained some daub and charcoal flecking but not the quantities evident in re-cut 012AB07187.
