Discussion

 A curvilinear ditch in the south of area 12AB. The ditch cut through two ditches (012AB00282 and 012AB07184) and a pit (012AB00232) and was subsequently cut by seven ditches (012AB00338, 012AB00652, 012AB07167, 012AB07182, 012AB07183, 012AB07187 and 012AB07188) and a Grubenhaus (012AB07003). The fill contained daub, animal bone and two sherds of Roman pottery. One was a sherd of Samian ware, possibly dating to the middle of the 2nd Century (012AB00408AA).
