Phasing

The only find was a fragment of unfired clay from post hole 012AB00524. All three post holes (012AB00515, 012AB00517 and 012AB00524) cut through ditch 012AB07188. In addition, post holes  (012AB00515 and 012AB00517) also cut through pit 012AB00672.

Discussion

All three post holes were filled with a silty clay loam (Munsell colour 10YR 3/3). The context record notes that chalk packing was present in the western pair (012AB00515 and 012AB00517).
