Discussion

An L-shaped ditch in the west of area 12AB. The ditch was cut by curvilinear ditch 012AB07193 and by east/west enclosure ditches 012AB00160, 012AB07171, 012AB07194 and 012AB07198. No relationship was established with east/west aligned ditch 012AB00242. The northern extent beyond east/west ditch 012AB07197 was not visible. The ditch may have continued as ditch 012AB00137 or may have formed a small sub-enclosure with one of the east/west ditches (012AB07197 or 012AB07198). The position of the spoil heap prevented the western extent being traced.
