Discussion

 A NW/SE aligned ditch in the west of area 11BA. This is one of several similar features in the vicinity immediately to the west of large curvilinear enclosure 011BA07130. The relationship with the enclosure ditch was not fully established although this ditch is likely to be a later feature. Where a relationship was established between the enclosure ditch and the features to the west of the enclosure (see slots 011BA00049 and 011BA00771), the enclosure ditch proved earlier. The function of the ditch in relation to the enclosure is unclear although the south/east end does not seem to progress eastwards into the enclosure area and the feature may therefore be contemporary with at least one phase of the enclosure. The extent of the north/west end was not established.
