The slot contained no finds, and the stratigraphic relationship with ditch 012AD00007 was not established

Discussion

All of the features in the immediate area were severely plough truncated, situated as they are on a chalky knoll.

The fill was a fine sandy loam (Munsell 10YR 4/3), with a 5% chalk inclusion rate. There was no charcoal or daub flecking present. The slot was cut into white chalk, and no profile could be established due to the extreme shallowness of the feature.
