Discussion

A shallow sub-oval shaped pit intersecting with enclosure ditch 012AC00335, which in section appeared to be cut by the ditch. It is possible that the feature may have continued to the north as slot 012AC00366 although this was not apparent during excavation. The fill was a sandy loam (Munsell 10YR 4/3).
