Discussion

A pit of unknown extent defined at the intersection of enclosure ditches 012AC00034 and 012AC00035, below spit 012AC00007. The pit has truncated pit 012AC0079 but was itself cut by both enclosure ditches. The pit was defined only in section after excavation and consequently no finds were lifted under the context number. The fill was a sandy loam (Munsell 10YR 3/3) which contained a high number of small daub fragments.
