Discussion

An east/west aligned ditch in central 12AB. The relationship with ditches 012AB00256 and 012AB07199 was not established. The eastern extent much beyond the excavated segment is uncertain, the ditch may not extend as far as indicated in the digitised plan. The ditch was cut by two post holes (012AB00066 and 012AB00068), in the west, and a further line of post holes (012AB07254) also appear to cut into the top of the ditch fill in the east. The excavators believed that the post holes were probably unassociated with the ditch.
