Discussion

 A large, shallow feature in area 12AA. The feature was thought to be a ditch segment during excavation but is more likely to be a shallow pit. Two post holes of master 012AA07177 cut through the pit and it is likely that the post holes of the east side of post hole structure 012AA07076 also cut through the feature. The pit cut through small north/south aligned slot 012AA00232 and through ditch 012AA07088.
