Discussion

A very shallow north/south aligned ditch in the north/west corner of area 11BD. The ditch was cut by enclosure ditch 011CD07103 and probably also by ditch 011CE07094 further to the north (unconfirmed). The west side was cut by pit 011CD05747. A Medieval furrow (part of master 011AC10000) also cut through the ditch. The ditch may have continued to the south as ditch/slot 011BD00565, possibly forming an enclosure with the north side of enclosure ditch 011CD07099. A single sherd of Roman pottery was recovered from the fill.
