Discussion

A small, irregularly shaped pit in the south of area 2DD approximately 1 metre to the south/east of Grubenhaus 002DD00027. This feature contained few finds, although there were a number of unfired loomweight fragments. The pit also contained a number of small charcoal lumps, generally less than 4mm in diameter.
