Discussion

This was a number issued for the area of buried soil sealed by the stone setting 002DB00105. It consisited of a sandy silty loam (Munsell colour 10YR 4/3), with occasional to moderate rounded and angular chalk inclusions. Only two undiagnostic pottery sherds were found, although adjacent patches of buried soil did produce Anglian material.
