Discussion

A sub-oval shaped pit defined under spit 012AC00012 and located immediately south of the terminal of enclosure ditch 012AC09500 and cut by ditch 012AC00100. The pit possibly relates to an entrance complex at the corner of an enclosure, which has been redefined at least three times, although the stratigraphic relationship between it and ditch 012AC09500 could not be established during excavation.
