Although containing no diagnostic material culture, the enclosure has been phased to the later Anglian or Middle Saxon period, both because of its relationships with the ditches to the north and south, and bercause it changes direction to skirt around a Grubenhaus (012AD09505)

Discussion

A curvilinear enclosure ditch aligned north-west/south-east and forming the southern boundary of an enclosure to the north. Further ditches on a similar alignment lie to the north (012AC00033 and 012AC07211) and to the south (012AC09502) of 012AC00035 which form different phases of the same enclosure.
