Although not containing any diagnostic material culture, stratigraphically this pit is one of the latest events in the immediate area, cutting enclosure ditch 012AB07198.

Discussion

This shallow, sub-circular pit was filled with a silty clay loam (Munsell colour 10YR 3/2), with 5-10% chalk inclusions. Very little was recorded, but the pit cut through one of the later of the enclosure ditches (012AB07198).

The pit was cut through ditch fill 012AB00167 in the north and into hillwash in the south, with a V-shaped profile.
