Discussion

The western side of a small Grubenhaus in the west of area 11CE. The eastern half of this structure was entirely cut away by two north/south aligned ditches, 011CE20002 and 011CE00691, therefore the length of the structure is not known. Two post holes were present; one central in the west side (011CE00870) and the other approximately 20cm further east (011CE00872). An unexcavated pit (011CE00897) may be the east side post hole of this structure although this was never established with certainty.
