Discussion

 A small segment of east/west aligned slot in the east of area 11CD. The slot became visible when the area was trowelled back (spit 011CD05444), after stone setting 011CD20000 was lifted. The slot cut through the top of Roman ditch 011CD20018. Several post holes of master 011CD07118 were cut into the slot. The full extent of the slot was not established.
