Discussion

 A small section of north/south aligned ditch in the east of area 11BD. This ditch may be a phase of the curvilinear ditches in south/east 11BD/CD (see the stratigraphic matrix and further discussion for the enclosure ditches Further information on the enclosure ditches in south/east 11CD ). One piece of medieval pottery was recovered from the fill, possibly indicating a later date for this ditch.
