Discussion

A small area of pebble surface in the east of area 11BD. The surface became apparent after the removal of material from a shallow depression (011BD00795). Two Grubenhaus structures also lay under the depression; 011BD07024 to the west replaced by 011BD07025  to the east. The earliest structure, 011BD07024, cut through the north side of the pebble surface. The surface could well be contemporary with this structure. A small patch of daub material (011BD01069) lay on the surface.
