Discussion

 A NW/SE aligned post and trench structure in central 11BC. Each wall of the structure was issued with a separate cut number although a single context was issued to the fill of the entire trench (011BC00651). The dimensions for the structure were attained by measuring from central points in the trenches. The trench was not fully excavated and therefore not all of the post holes were recovered. The average depth for the excavated sections of the trench is 17cm.
The corner posts were much deeper than those present in the walls (with the exception of the south/west corner 011BC00674), with an average depth of  24cm. An internal trench denoting a partition wall was recovered in the east side, partitioning off an area approximately 290cm wide. A break in the north trench is interpreted as a doorway into the easternmost part of the main body of the building.
A trench to the south/west of the structure (011BC00661) may be contemporary, possibly a fence line. A medieval furrow (011BC00646) cut through the structure and may be responsible for the shallow depth of the corner post 011BC00674.
