Pit

Discussion

A small pit located on the south-western edge of Grubenhaus 011AA00195. No relationship between the two was established, and unfortunately the three diagnostic sherds recovered from the pit were all of different dates (1 Romano-British, 1 Anglian and 1 Medieval). A gravel layer (011AA00179) also covered part of the pit.
